There is something about waterfalls that's special. Cleansing, grounding and very relaxing. They're great to head for when you're feeling tired and stressed. They're also very romantic, and a walk to see one is a great idea for a date.
Sydney is blessed with several beautiful national parks and reserves, quite a few of which have waterfalls. In your opinion where is Sydney's most beautiful waterfall? Where is it located, and is it easily accessible?
Although a bit out of Sydney, I would have to say at Katoomba - near where Crystal Lodge used to be/Abbotsford St. Otherwise there is a lovely waterfall at the family farm past Traralga - one hour from Goulburn.
In Sydney, there are some lovely small waterfalls, especially in gardens like Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby. However, if you're willing to travel a little further, Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains region is well worth a visit. There is a stunning bush track as well as lookouts with some incredible views of falls and mountains.
There's a teeny tiny little waterfall in the bushland next to Primose Park in Cremorne. It's not always running, but it is such a pretty spot, and the water underneath is shallow so that dogs love to play in it.
