Have you ever wanted to get rid of some "trash" or maybe donate it for a cause? Or maybe you enjoy taking a detour from brand hardware stores for some everyday materials? It is commonly known that one person's trash could very well be another person's treasure.
What great or secret "trash" and "treasure" initiatives do you know about?
Have you ever scored a bargain trade or great find?
What has resulted from your endeavours?
All kinds of initiatives are welcome to be shared, not just the eco-friendly.
I love having a little hunt through Reverse Garbage when I go to the Sunday Markets at Marrickville, you just never know what interesting things you will find! I've seen props for theater productions there alongside hundreds of beads and packaging which can be re-purposed. It has a really artistic bent, so great for crafters and bargain hunters alike.
