best way to unwind in sydney
Slow us down Sydney. The simple things in life are often the best.

The general consensus is that Sydney is a fast paced city. Sydney, we definitely need to chill out and unwind some more. If you're in need of yet another holiday, then this question is dedicated to you. There are ways to enjoy a so called 'mini holiday' in Sydney without having to go anywhere. Time to unwind needs to be a priority at times. Like many of us treat our work as we would treat any other important appointment; we need to treat our 'me' time the same way. How do you unwind in Sydney? Go for a walk in the park? Time in nature? Escape somewhere fairly close, like spending a day or two at the Blue Mountains? Although the latter area is technically out of Sydney, we still class this area as Sydney. Book in some pampering? Have a bath? Sleep in? Take a day off? Also, why do you unwind the way you do?

My favourite way to unwind is to head down the beach, preferably a secluded one and one without waves, bring a book, turn the phone off and pretend I am on holidays.
Time in nature. Swimming. Surfing. The Beach. Having a bath at home. Chilling on the couch at home. Going to the Blue Mountains. Time with family. Day spas. Massages.
Probably going to the beach with my favourite book and just read on until the sun sets and it's time to head home.
Beach, or I head to Cottage Point - so beautiful and a world away, when only 40 mins from home.
I unwind at home! A trip on the Manly ferry is also nice, or going to the local art gallery to see a movie on Sunday afternoons.
