What is the best way to travel to Sydney's Targona Zoo at Mosman? You want your time at the zoo to be as stress free as possible. It all starts with the travel plans. Does your family drive to the zoo? If so, has parking ever been a challenge? Or a dream run? Would you prefer catching the ferry from Circular Quay instead? Or a bus from Carrington Street, Wynyard? Maybe you might live close enough to walk to the zoo? Is it a good idea to catch a cab to the zoo?

I love being on water, so for me the best option would be to travel by ferry from Circular Quay. You can enjoy the stunning views of Sydney Harbour as you approach the zoo and you don't have to worry about parking. If you do drive, there is a parking station near the entrance, although you have to pay for it.
Agree. Definitely the ferry. It is peaceful and stress free. The ferry drops you right outside the zoo.
My family has always driven. At the end of your day at the zoo, it's easier to just hop in the car and head home than having to coordinate public transport.
When ever the family has gone to the zoo it will be by train, then ferry over to the zoo. It has been a much better way than fighting through the traffic even though there is plenty of parking at the zoo. You also get to see what's going on in the harbour
