Like any other special day, Sydney has so much to offer on Valentine's Day. Whether it's events for the happily single, those looking to meet someone special, or those who are coupled-up, there are a huge number of things to do. What is your favourite thing to do on Valentine's Day in Sydney?
I'll admit to being a bit of a homebody on Valentine's Day. I like to go to the nearest liquor store and buy a good bottle of bubbly, then go to a deli or market and pick out some amazing ingredients to cook a meal at home.
Although this year I wouldn't mind checking out some of the things going on at Darling Harbour's Month of Love, which goes until the first of March. So many cute things, many of which are free.
Such a great question. This will be the first year I'll be celebrating V Day in a long time. My man and I might just hang around in the city (he has to work) - have a picnic on Hyde Park with some pink chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne. For dinner, definitely a beach side classy seafood dinner at Brighton-Le-Sands.
For those who enjoy a special fine dining meal on valentines day you cannot go past Sean's Panaroma in North Bondi. Fresh local produce such as Yabby tails, pippies, roast chook, chestnut gnocchi, kingfish carpaccio or linguine with rocket and chilli oil may appear on the blackboard menu, accompanied by an exclusively Australian wine list (Champagne the exception).
Desserts at Sean’s are renowned, so try whatever they’ve got. A fine dining experience without the pretentious Bondi crowds.
