There is a new gym in Sydney City that goes by the mantra "no sweat, no candy." So simple, yet it's struck a chord with so many Sydney residents. Somehow Sydney, it seems that we're addicted to sweat.
I'm talking about some serious sweat; where you engage in a 45-minute yoga class as your form of "recovery" after 45 minutes of non-stop physical fitness. With the latter, despite the fans being turned on full blast in the room for both of these workouts in their entirety - your shirt and bike pants are still soaking wet. That's right, full of sweat. Where is the best place in Sydney to workout in and generate some serious sweat?
The Friday lunch time Les Mills Body Attack and Body Balance combo at Fitness First in Park Street guarantees some serious sweat. This is even with the fans on all the time. My shirt and bike pants are fully soaked at the end of a 45-minute Body Attack workout, and this is despite staying hydrated. I also like the Madonna inspired workouts at Hard Candy Fitness in Druitt Street.
