If you are trying to organise that romantic picnic, or simply just want to avoid the crowds; what beach is the best to venture to in Sydney - one that people don't really know much about? Are there secret or secluded beaches that you always enjoy and find are always quiet?
Most secluded beaches I’ve been to usually involve a little bit of a walk through bush to get to but I do have a couple of favourites. Bundeena’s Jibbon beach is in the Royal National Park and the water is usually lovely and flat so you can avoid getting dumped by waves. Milk Beach in Vaucluse is smaller and lovely for a picnic, it can get a little windy but you have lovely views of the harbor.
My favourite beach is probably Mona Vale beach on the Northern Beaches. There usually aren't that many people around and there are gorgeous cafés for that perfect cup of coffee after a long walk on the beach with your loved one.
Garie Beach. It's right down the south of Sydney in the National Park. It can be quite a way to get there as you need to drive through the National Park but the view at the end more than makes up for it!
