Plenty of us creative types are lucky to be able to take our laptop, and/or tablet device with us and work anywhere when being at home just gets too much. Where are the top spots to do this in Sydney?

My home office is best, however, when I have enough of home I love the following in Sydders:

Cafes - especially in Surry Hills, Rozelle & Balmain.
Customs House Library with the free WiFi
On the train/in transit - a lot of the time to not waste idle time
Love the idea of Customs House! Thats a perfect location!

I always like to do my work, especially writing, when I'm on the bus. It's the best way to be productive when I wouldn't have been doing anything. I'm also partial to spending hours sitting in a quiet cafe using up all their free WiFi! ;)
I like to work from home too, as everything I need is already there and set up just how I like it. But for a change of scenery Chatswood Library is good. They have a heap of desks and chairs there so it's nice and easy to get a spot. And the quiet of a library is always conducive to work.
I always see people doing work via laptop on trains, especially if they have a long trip to their destination. Other wise public libraries are a nice quiet place to concentrate in.
I've found that Surry Hills library is great for this - it's big, new, with lots of little spaces to curl up with your laptop and free wifi. Bonus that there's heaps of great coffee nearby!
