Who says that the visitors to our fantastic city, have to have all of the fun? Many Sydney locals opt to stay in hotels for a night or two. The reasons for doing this are varied. This could be work related, and perhaps many Sydney locals want to enjoy a late night out on the town without having to worry about getting home late. Where exactly is the best place to stay in Sydney? Is there a particular hotel you love staying at? Or do you just prefer to stay at hotels in Sydney full stop? Or maybe a cheap backpackers hostel? Some of us would prefer to stay with family and/or friends, when staying somewhere away from the home in Sydney. What is your preference?

Not been since the refurb, but Park Hyatt still has to be up there, also the Pullman Quay Grand and the Shangri la. I love the pool at the Observatory too...(Langham now, I think)
Wouldn't stay with friends - I hate being a house guest.
