There is nothing worse than running pants that lose their elastic and sag, or shirts that show all the sweat. Where do you go for affordable but great quality exercise gear that makes you look and feel great?

These days Kmart and Target offer some modern running gear in breathable fabric at a more reasonable price. (I bought running tights from Kmart for $1.50 and I wear them all the time).
Of course there are the more stylish brands like Australia's own Lorna Jane which is a little dearer but you can get some great quality gear. (The sales are really good too!)
Thanks Elle - I owe you 3 karma points now.
For cheap-ish exercise gear, I usually shop at Cotton On Body. Most of their stuff is really cute and colourful, and the crop top that I bought from there has withstood quite a lot of sweaty gym sessions.
I'd go for Kmart, Target and Big W stuff too. Affordable so that I don't mind if they wear out. But if I'm after something a little more sturdy (like a decent crop top or hoodie) I go to Lorna Jane or Running Bare.
Great question, and great to see your answers guys. Keep em coming on the other questions - ed

My answer: Lululemon at Mid City Cetre - love their tank tops. For bike pants Bloch is quite good.
I get all my running clothes from Cotton On, mainly in Town Hall. They have a great variety of sport singlets, crop tops, shorts and tights and at good prices :)
You could go to some up market sports store, or even go down market, to find exercise clothes but personally I think you are better off going to your favourite clothing store, finding the most comfy clothes they sell and then once you have worn them about twenty to fifty times on social occasions, demote them to exercise gear. Let's face it, either you exercise to get fit or you do it to be seen to be getting fit, so you may as well do it in clothes that make you feel good.
