We are blessed to have such great weather in Sydney ,that 99 days out of 100 you can be outside for at least a little while. I also like to meditate in different places. Therefore, where's the best spot you know of for getting some relaxation and contemplation done? Preferably on grass but not necessarily. Just anywhere with a suitable atmosphere, and good vibe.

Great question. I am more so an indoors home meditator. Part of my train line is relaxing until the train reaches Wolli Creek. Otherwise Hyde Park in the City comes to mind. Did an outdoors yoga class there in summer too on a Tuesday night - what an interesting experience. The Royal Botanic Gardens is also another awesome place to meditate.
I've never tried meditating outdoors in Sydney but I think some of the national parks such as the Royal, Lane Cove and Sydney Harbour ones would be lovely. I often meditate on the beach in Perth where I live, so probably some of the beautiful Sydney beaches would be great meditation spots too.
Ah the beach is always a great suggestion - thanks :) I should take myself there more often from now on. Cheers!

Cooper Park in Woollahra is nice and peaceful. Wendy's Secret Garden in Lavender Bay has a really lovely background story and a breath taking view too!
There is a secret place to go at Bondi beach if you want to relax, listen to the sound of the waves and perhaps meditate.

In fact just the cliff tops between Bondi and Coogee Beaches provide many options for you to sit and meditate to sound of the surf.

However just south of Bondi Beach there is a little lookout halfway along the path up the cliff. If you jump over the low lookout wall you make your way out along the edge of the cliff and you will find a little cave that only locals know about.

Sitting there in cave as waves vibrate through the limestone is an amazing experience and thoroughly recommended. Though please be careful on the cliff.
