A lamington with a twist at Zumbo's dessert train at The Star. This is no ordinary sweet treat.
Sydney is home to some mouth watering sweet treats, and they're enough to tantalise many different taste buds. Thank you Peter Gilmore and Adriano Zumbo. Those names are just the icing on the cake, no pun intended. Where do you like to indulge in a sweet treat? At a dessert train? At a food hall? Out and about on a take away basis? Going to a patisserie? Dining in at a restaurant? Going on a walking tour where you get to sample some sweet treats?
Chanoma Cafe on George Street, my friend took me their on my first visit and I instantly fell in love with their Matcha Shiratama Parfait! N2 Gelato is also a pretty fun and trendy place for gelato/ice-cream after a meal.
Although Gelato Messina is most popularly known for its regular (and spectacular) gelato, it also is the mastermind behind a patisserie in Darlinghurst called The Creative Department. All the intricate and fun treats here are made of gelato and other yummy ingredients. You can find mini-desserts, including one that looks exactly like a burger and an amazing salted caramel popcorn concoction.
