You will be surprised. There are a few great toy store destinations in the city, where parents can buy some quality toys and dolls for their kids. All of this without the fast paced feel, depicted inside some Sydney based toy shops. Furthermore, two quite favourable toy shops are within close proximity to each other in the city centre. One toy shopping oasis is located on a whole floor in an elegant department store, while the other is located in another elegant building with an opulent feel. Where is the best place to buy toys in Sydney? Right in the city centre? Or in suburbia?
I like Toys R Us in Chatswood. It's a one stop shop for all Christmas presents and during the year for birthday presents. Also I advise not bringing children with you ... they will never let you leave :)
Definitely level five at David Jones Elizabeth Street. The toys are neat and well organised. A spacious space for parents to relax and enjoy their toy shopping experience. Also love the beautiful, old fashioned dolls at Just White - Queen Victoria Building.
