Tea is well-known for its health benefits, and flavoured tea has become extremely popular. Brewing and enjoying your own tea at home is calming and satisfying. But there's so many types of tea sets out there, from pastel polka dots to oriental china. So where can you find the best tea sets in Sydney?

T2 is the obvious choice, it's got a huge selection of pots and sets. Its range changes quite often, meaning you'll always find new designs and colours. But there's lots of other lesser known places that have pretty tea sets. For example, Octopus Designs in Newtown has some lovely patterned sets.
Agree, T2 sell a diverse range of colour tea sets. Whichever T2 you go to in Sydney, the range is extensive and so amazing. There is another place in The Strand Arcade (in between Pitt and George Streets) in the city is another worthy place. Otherwise a few of my friends have ventured into Chinatown for this.
T2 is amazing and it is great being able to buy delicious tea at the same time but if you are looking for something a little more reasonable, and with a few more choices, try Victoria's Basement. They have all sorts of great kitchen and homewares. When ever I go there I always end up buying something!
Add me to the list of people who love T2. However I also like to go to op shops and mix and match my own sets there - you'd be amazed what you can come up with just by choosing a common colour theme. Of course, you can often find full matching sets there too, and usually for a bargain price. They usually just need a good wash to come up a treat.
Just want to add - I went to a store called The Storehouse today, located in Bridgepoint Shopping Centre in Mosman, and it had more tea sets than I think I've seen anywhere else. Good brands too, and such a beautiful variety.

I can never go past the crockery section at Myer in the CBD. So many pretty things, and many of them are very reasonably priced! Bonus - there's a cafe right next to it, so you can have a cuppa while you mull over the choices.
