best place to buy salads in sydney, salads
Enjoying a hearty and healthy persian cous cous and haloumi cheese salad at home. Product was purchased at a gourmet grocers in Surry Hills.

Although salads are more of a summery food in Sydney, however, despite heading into winter (as at the time of writing this) salads are still hearty, convenient and surprisingly quite filling. Personally, the benefits of maintaining clear acne-free skin from consuming more salads is a real godsend. There are fluctuations in prices from one supermarket and/or salad bar to another in Sydney. On this, where is the best place to buy salads in Sydney?

I'm also a fan of the various Sumo Salads over Sydney. Not just because you can actually get filling salads and they have a great variety, but also because they have gluten free options. That can sometimes be a tricky find because of the dressings and croutons you find in a lot of salads.
I love buying fresh salads at Thomas Dux in Surry Hills. I look out for the packaged Season Kitchen brand. The lamb salad at $7.50 is so filling. They're sometimes reduced, and they're still fantastic. The salad pictured in this question only costed me $4.90. SumoSalad is great too, especially where you can customise your own salads. I don't mind the Asian Salad at Coles World Square for $5. Some of the salads at Woolworths in the city and in Kingsgrove are quite expensive - around $8 +. Have found some great Asian Salad for $5 at Woolworths in Kingsgrove, yet with the Asian Salad at Coles World Square - it is easier to eat from the packaging when working at your desk.
The Health Pitt in Stockland Mall, Merrylands have a good variety of healthy and tasty salads in different sizes and at affordable prices - my favourites are the chicken caesar salad, and the grilled lamb salad. They also do great smoothies!
So many great places to grab a salad in the CBD! My personal favourite is in the Australia Square food court - I believe it's called Rocket Salad. Die for some of that grilled chicken and pumpkin with tangy fetta cheese and crunchy nuts.
Top Juice has an awesome range of different salads, of both vegetable and fruit salads and they're all delicious and super healthy. You can also add yogurt or extra fruit to your salad which I always splurge for!
