I might be late to join the trend, but over the last six months or so I've become addicted to painting my nails. By doing it at home, I can change the colour as much as I want, and it saves money if you don't like to go out to get your nails done. Where do you think is the best place in Sydney for buying nail polish?

I love to go to Myer in the city at Pitt Street Mall. I especially love their OPI range - so many colours to choose from! And best of all is how they have a number of sample and gift packs, with small versions of the nail polishes in them. I love to grab one of these to test out what colours I like, then I can buy a bigger bottle later.
Brilliant question Kerri :) I agree, it's nice to paint your own nails at home. OPI, such a divine brand. When I was working in the mainstream press before progressing to private business consulting, I used to get nail polishes given to me through my work. Nowadays, I buy mine in the city too - at David Jones Elizabeth Street. Definitely the OPI brand. Also, in the $19.95 beauty bags with any beauty purchase, you can a taster of some OPI nail polish too.
I shop Butter London at Pure Health in Pitt St Mall, and I also love Nubar which you can get delivered free from beautybay.com :)
I usually grab mine at Chemist Warehouse or Priceline! Not very chic I know, but they have many great brands and often have ridiculous discounts. Love grabbing a bright new Rimmel polish for under $5.

Priceline have recently started stocking Essie polishes as well - definitely recommend, even if you're used to higher end polishes like OPI. I find if I use a good basecoat and topcoat (Essie or Sally Hansen) then the cheapness of the polish doesn't matter. :)

I usually buy my nail polishes from Priceline or any chemist that has good sales or deals on. Last week I also brought a really nice, good quality nail polish from the Sephora store in the city.
