I could be biased with this question. Why? One of my girlfriends is a professional jewellery, and runs her own silver jewellery boutique in lovely Rozelle. Otherwise, there is cool art space in the city that sells some spesh jewellery. Over to you now, where is the best place to buy jewellery in Sydney?
Paddington Markets would have to be my favourite. They're opened every Saturday and have an amazing range of jewellery, from antique-looking bronze pieces to gorgeous, modern silver ones. What's more, many of them are handmade by locals!
I have to say Juel at Rozelle - Darling Street. Elsa and Tegan do a fab job. Love those silver studs. There is a place in Mid City Centre in the city that is also awesome. David Jones Elizabeth Street is also fab. Brought my gold watch there.
I love going to Tresors in the Strand Arcade. This gem of a little shop has some of the most amazing items of jewellery, some quirky, some very old world, some are reproductions true to the spirit of the past, but generally you will always find something interesting in this shop. The expertise of the assistants is also one of the best things about this cosy little Victorian era remnant
Lorena's in Haberfield. She has amazing stuff and the more you walk around the store, the more you see! I find she has a fantastic eye and is always ahead of the trends. I get stuff there before it appears in every other store and everyone always asks me where I get my pieces. She has purses and scarves too. it's the only place I shop now.
