A great place to buy homewares in Sydney. You would be surprised as to where this photo was taken.

Where is the best place to buy homewares in Sydney? About 12 months ago, this was a fairly easy question to answer. Both at factory outlets and high end shopping centres alike, Sydney is now spoilt for choice when it comes to decorating the home. We are now spoilt for choice on where to buy our next candle or diffuser, piece of art or statue. Where do you like to shop for homewares in Sydney? Why?

So tricky to answer. There is a place at Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre, right near Peter Alexanders. Also there is another great place right near Baskin 31 Robbins Ice Cream in Darling Haebour's Harbourside. David Jones in the city is fantastic.
Sorry about the typo in Darling Harbour. Cheers
Seaweed and Sand at Warringah Mall has beach inspired homewares - beautiful photos, shells, candles and even bed linen.
Besides IKEA which has brought Swedish design to both Rhodes and Tempe, an easy and accessible shop I have spotted is called Habitania. You are almost guaranteed to walk out of a store with something in your arms.

Currently their stores are open on George St in the CBD, in Parramatta Westfields, Top Ryde Centre and Liverpool Westfields. Their showroom is located at Warringah Mall. You can also purchase online: http://www.habitania.com.au/

Accoutrement in Mosman is a really fun place to go shopping for homewares if you're looking for something a little different. It looks like a tiny store on the outside, but inside is a labyrinth of sections dedicated to crockery, kitchen wares, gifts and anything and everything. They've also got an online store if you don't feel like getting out of the house.
DFO Homebush has a good variety of homeware stores and it's a factory outlet, so lots of sales and deals! My go to homeware places in DFO are Adairs and Bed Bath N Table.
