Sydney, we don't need an excuse to party. Whether we need to pay a cover charge or not, we just like partying. There are even night running events that enable you to party to dance music with neon lights afterwards. Which nightclub do you like going to in Sydney? Is it in the city, or in the suburbs? Why?

The Ark at Darlinghurst. Definitely a great night out. Also enjoyed the nightclub action at The Neon Run at the Domain last night. Also, Home nightclub at Darlinghurst is awesome. Love the multiple floors.
Oxford Art Factory Darlinghurst is great! It often has awesome live music and the side bar is always free entry which makes a nice change to the expensive entry fee at a lot of clubs in Sydney
It really comes down to personal taste. For me, being an R&B and Hip Hop lover, i like The Club in Kings Cross and Ivy Changerooms. If you're into house/electro, Ivy Courtyard would probably be your best bet. If you're into dubstep/trap, Candy's, FAKE or Chinese Laundry would probably suit you
If you love multiple floors, try The Retro Hotel, 81 Sussex St. Sydney 2000 http://www.theretro.com.au/ or Jackson's on George, 176 George Street, Sydney 2000.

The Retro features themed music on each level (70s, 80s, 90s) and is a must for anyone who loves to dance or get dressed up to themes, which changes every week and may score you half price or even free entry! Close by to Darling Harbour for a cool down breeze from all the dancing you will get up to.

Jackson's is a great venue for those people who love the radio or are easily bored, its diverse music caters to everyone and all ages! Plus the cocktails aren't that bad either. Close by to Circular Quay for a beautiful midnight stroll.
Not that keen on The Ivy as a nightclub venue; the cover charge, crowd and music were not to my liking, especially when there is so much decent competition in this field. Hope it has changed since the last time I've been!
