As the weather cools down and it becomes less enjoyable to spend a day outdoors with your mates; Sydney siders look for a place where they can gather away from the biting wind and drizzling rain. Cafes and pubs are cosy, but they involve eating and drinking; and movies are fun, but you don't get to chat! Where do you go to hang out with your friends and family?
A games arcade can be quite a fun group indoor activity. Because of the huge variety there's something for everyone and you won't have to worry about someone not liking it. Sporty types might enjoy the hoop throws or air hockey, others might be into the dance games or car racing ones. There's so many different things to do, and most of them are multiplayer so you can really have fun with the people you are with. Usually good for a laugh as well.
Strike at King Street Wharf, if not any ten pin bowling fun at Darling Harbour is divine. Definitely shakes off those winter blues. Karaoke at Strike is also available. Speaking of which, karaoke in Sydney is becoming a hit. Another worthy indoor option. I know, you can't speak at the theatre either, yet I love the theatre too.
