I love a good curry and some delicious garlic naan to mop it up - but amazing Indian restaurants and takeaways can be hard to find! Where's your favourite spot to grab a quick butter chicken, or eat in and savour a plateful of dahl and lamb korma with a cold beer?
This is a brilliant question! I know the best place. It is called Haveli's and it is in Quakers Hill and it sells seriously authentic indian food. Also it is fun to take the family because it has an "outdoor" market where you can buy snack type foods and there is a life-size horse statue in the entry way and little models of indian villages to look at. Also it was recommended by an indian so I think that means it is good by Indian standards too :) It is right near the train station so it is really easy to get to as well!
I agree, a great question. Rarely if ever think of Indian food in Sydney. You've got all of us thinking Ally. There is a place in Hunters Hill that is just amazing. Manjit's in Balmain is divine. Their lassi drink is heavenly.
