When it comes to the end of the week (and sometimes in between..cough..cough.. hump day), you're left looking for a nice place to have a relaxing drink after a long day at work, university, or for leisure. This process however (insert sad face) can be quite damaging to the wallet, so that is why we invented the happy hour. Helm Bar at Darling Harbour - on a Tuesday night cocktails are cheap, and I am referring to the jam jar ones. Roughly they're only $7. Otherwise Blackbird Cafe at Darling Harbour do happy hour cocktails with stunning water views for only $10. I think (off hand) this is daily on weekdays from 5pm to 6pm.
Manning Bar :) $3.50 drinks!
Li'l Darlin at Darlinghurst has $5 house wine, beer, spirits and sparkling between 3:00pm and 7:00pm, and $10 cocktails after 10:00pm. They have some of the most amazing cocktails ever too. I've had more than my fair share of their mint martinis, and they also have fairy floss martinis, hundreds and thousands cocktails, blood orange margaritas... The list goes on. Every Sunday and Monday you can also get a pizza for $5.50 with any drink purchase.
