Let's face it, you're never too old to enjoy some pure arcade fun. The flashing lights; the constant bleeps and buzzes, not to mention the clinking of tokens (or these days, the swiping of game cards). It's always nice to find an arcade with a variety of games, and prizes that you actually want to win. So which games arcade do you like best?
More and more game arcades seem to be closing down! I particularly enjoy the Timezone at the George Street cinema's. It is pretty handy if you want to see a movie as well. There is also one at Hornsby.
There is also currently an exhibition called Game Masters at the Powerhouse Museum until May 25 2014. It has over 100 playable games not only for arcades but across console, mobile and PC platforms. I hear it is pretty fun!
Great question. I like the games arcade at the Capitol Theatre, and also Timezone inside Event Cinemas is cool. There was a place in between Mizuya's, yet unfortunately it has shut down. Love that dance game...
