Fish and chips are a quick and easy lunch whether you are at the beach, at a picnic or ordering take away to eat at home. Where are the best fish and chips in Sydney?

My choices:

1. Ocean Foods on Lyons Road Drummoyne - as you're heading towards Chiswick.
2. Sea Breeze Rozelle - Darling Street
3. Fist on Fire at Glebe also
Fish Face in Darlinghurst is pretty great.
Fish on Fire on Glebe Point Road makes great beer battered chips and the fish is also made exceptionally well. Perfect for a quick quality take-away meal, the prices are quite reasonable too. Last time I visited I bought a grilled fish pack and it was only $10. It's located opposite Foley park, where you can also sit and enjoy your meal.
My fave is South Beach Seafoods, 20 Gerrale Street Cronulla 2230. The photos in the following link are not the best, http://www.around-oz.com/best_in_oz/fish_and_chips/cronulla.htm, but let me tell you the calamari rings are to die for. Perfect crumb and not the beer batter type coating (unless they've changed since I've been there last!).
